1 pound groung turkey1 medium sweet onion, chopped
1 teaspoon cumin
1 cup tomato sauce
1 green chile, chopped
1/2 teaspoon chile powder
4 whole wheat pita pocket bread, halved
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 small tomato, diced
In medium nonstick sillet, combine turkey, onion, and cumin; cook over medium heat until turkey is no longer pink. Stir in tomato sauce, green chiles and chili powder. Bring to a boil. Fill each pocket with turkey mixture; top with lettuce & tomato. Enjoy!
