1 box elbow noodles, cooked, not rinsed


4 - 5 stalks celery, chopped small


3 - 4 carrots, shredded or chopped small


1 small cans of peas


4 - 5 green onions, sliced


1 medium green pepper, diced small


2 boiled eggs, chopped fine


salt and pepper


Mayo, not Miricle Whip (as much as you need)


1 to 2 cans of tuna packed in water, drained well (you can also use baby salad shrimp in the place of tuna)

TUNA NOODLE SALAD





1 box of kraft mac n cheese {Save cheese for something else or mix some in for a cheesy dish)


1 can tuna


1 can cream of mushroom soup





This is the way my Grandmothers and Mom fixed it.





boil 1 box of kraft mac and cheese/omit the cheese


drain pasta place back in pot


open tuna drain add to hot macaroni


add 1 can cream of mushroom soup (do not add water!)


stir all together till mixed.


serve warm or put in fridge and serve cold

Tuna Fish Macaroni Salad Recipe





1/2 of bag salad macaroni cooked and drained,12 oz. bag,


2 small cans tuna, drained


1 and 1/2 cups chopped green onions, all but the bulb,


1 cup chopped celery


3 tablespoons relish


1/2 teaspoon garlic powder


1 teaspoon vinegar


3 hard boiled eggs


1/2 to 3/4 cup mayonnaise


Salt and pepper to taste











Mix above ingredients with a large spoon.





Chill for 3-4 hours





Yields approx. 8-10 servings
Macaroni and Tuna Fish Salad





Original recipe yield: 10 servings.

INGREDIENTS:


1 (16 ounce) package macaroni


2 (6 ounce) cans tuna, drained


1/4 cup mayonnaise


salt and pepper to taste


garlic powder to taste


1 pinch dried oregano


1 onion, finely chopped

DIRECTIONS:


Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add macaroni and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until done,drain and cool under running water.


Mix both cans of tuna into the cooled pasta. Add the mayonnaise. Use more or less to your taste. You want just enough to get the flavor into the salad, but not enough to see the white of the mayonnaise on the noodles. Stir in salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano and onion.
